Spencer & Trent Recruitment is working with a leading commercial property company that is seeking a Project Manager to join the business on a permanent basis. Working from the Mayfair office, you will play a key role in supporting the Property Management team with shop fit-outs.

As a Fit-out Project Manager, you will be overseeing projects from conception through completion, ensuring your project team delivers on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Duties include:

• Develop and update the construction programme with the Contracts Manager and ensure your project meets key milestones.
• Determine staff resources for your project and communicate effectively with your team.
• Implement safety systems and establish an excellent safety culture on your projects.
• Manage project quality over the lifecycle and ensure build quality meets expectations.
• Ensure project costs are managed, and prelims/packages are tightly controlled.
• Work with the commercial team to deliver agreed commercial objectives for your project.
• Maintain positive relationships with the client team; keeping them informed of any claims and delays.

Experience needed:

• 3 – 5 years of construction experience, ideally within fit-out projects in fast-paced environments.
• A third-level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• A proven ability to manage complex construction projects from inception to completion.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building effective relationships with stakeholders.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to propose cost-effective solutions.

Salary and Benefits:

• £60,000 – £65,000 DOE
• 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Birthday leave
• Monday to Friday only – 37.5 hours per week
