We are working with a leading mortgage brokerage firm, who is seeking an experienced Mortgage Administrator to join the business on a permanent basis. You will be working from the London office 3 days a week and 2 days from home.

 

Duties include:

  • Processing mortgage applications from initial enquiry to completion, including preparing, submitting, and tracking applications with various banks and lenders, and providing illustrations and quotes
  • Communicating effectively with bank representatives, underwriters, and mortgage advisors to facilitate the smooth progression of applications.
  • Answer phone calls and emails from customers
  • Handling queries and providing updates
  • Researching and sourcing mortgage products for Advisors
  • Chasing outstanding information and documentation from customers
  • Reviewing and organising all required documentation from clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with lender requirements
  • Using various systems to upload, submit and progress applications
  • Supporting the office with a variety of administrative and customer service tasks
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions and application statuses on the company CRM system.
  • Ensuring all activities comply with industry regulations and company policies

 

 

Experience needed:

  • Recent experience working within the mortgage industry or similar
  • Detailed attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Strong administrative skills, with strong systems experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

 

Salary and Benefits:

  • £30,000 – £35,000 DOE
  • 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
  • Performance-based bonus structure

  • Monday to Friday 9 am to 6 pm – 40 hours per week
