Spencer & Trent Recruitment is working with a well-known residential property company who is seeking a Resident Manager to join the business on a permanent basis.  

 

What You Will Be Doing: 

  • Conducting property viewings and following through to reservation. 
  • Communicating confidently with prospective tenants, current residents, visitors, colleagues, couriers, and contractors. 
  • Undertaking inspections of occupied and vacant properties to ensure apartments meet required standards. 
  • Reporting breaches or maintenance issues as needed. 
  • Completing inventory check-in and check-out reports for homes. 
  • Managing the move-out process, including deposit release. 
  • Managing utility bills for void units and updating utility companies with tenancy changes. 
  • Attending and participating in event planning and other resident experiences. 
  • Meeting budgeted targets for occupancy. 
  • Reporting and recording all activity in compliance with company standards. 
  • Assisting team members with ad hoc tasks as needed. 

 

Experience needed: 

  • ARLA or equivalent property qualification where possible (level 3 minimum). 
  • Proven experience in property management or a similar customer service role.  
  • Microsoft Office applications at Intermediate to advanced level.  
  • Good industry related systems knowledge e.g. Yardi or Hubspot.  
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills. 
  • Knowledge of compliance standards, property inspections, and maintenance processes. 
  • Strong time-management skills .
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  

Salary and Benefits: 

  • £35,000 – £40,000 DOE 
  • 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays  
  • Discretionary yearly Bonus 
  • Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm – 40 hours per week 
  • 1 Saturdays a month 9am – 5pm
