Part 2 Architectural Assistant
Spencer & Trent Recruitment is working with a growing Architectural Practice looking for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join their design team on a permanent basis. You will be working from their studio in Liverpool Street 3 days a week and 2 days from home.
You Will Be:
- Assisting in designing and delivering projects from concept through to completion
- Managing tasks efficiently to meet deadlines and uphold required quality standards
- Developing creative design solutions in line with project briefs and practice values.
- Producing accurate, detailed drawings, models, and visuals using Revit
- Supporting the preparation of planning and construction documentation, ensuring full compliance with UK building regulations.
- Attending site visits and client meetings to document observations and feedback
- Working collaboratively with Senior Architects and the Design team to achieve effective project coordination and timely delivery.
- Participating in brainstorming sessions, design reviews and actively contributing ideas to enhance project outcomes.
- Conducting independent research on construction techniques, materials and regulations to inform design choices.
- Preparing high-quality 3D views for presentations
Experience needed:
- Must be Part 2 qualified
- Have a minimum of 1 years of professional experience
- Experience working across RIBA Workstage 4, 5 and 6
- Revit experience is a plus
- Strong design and technical and graphics skills
- Knowledge and understanding of UK building regulations
- Ability to produce high-quality drawings and visuals with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of SketchUp and Photoshop
- Working towards completing Part 3 qualification
Salary and Benefits:
- £32,000 – £36,000 DOE
- 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
- Flexible working with 3 days per week required in the studio
