Senior HR Business Partner
Spencer & Trent Recruitment is partnering with a boutique asset management firm looking to hire a HR Business Partner on a permanent basis. This role offers a hybrid setup, with four days in the Moorgate office and one day working from home.
Duties include:
- Providing guidance on HR policies and processes, including employee relations, recruitment, reward & recognition, performance management, staff development, training, health & well-being, equality & diversity, and employee engagement.
- Coaching managers on complex people-related matters.
- Building positive working relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted partner.
- Proactively identifying potential risks to people performance.
- Supporting the Head of HR in creating and implementing HR strategy.
- Reviewing people performance data and providing regular updates and reports to the Senior Leadership Team.
- Working closely with the HR Advisor to assist managers in recruitment & retention activities.
- Implementing HR projects, including employee engagement activities and well-being initiatives.
- Driving equality, diversity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Identifying and addressing HR implications of proposed organisational changes, supporting consultation processes as required.
Experience needed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- CIPD qualification (or working towards one) preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in HR roles within the UK, with a strong understanding of UK employment law.
- Experience in HR data analysis and HR systems (HRIS, ATS, or People Analytics software) is highly desirable.
- Must have experience of working within the private equity or boutique asset management environment
- Proven experience of covering both strategic and operational HR activities
- Confident in partnering with and supporting both senior and junior staff members
- Confident in HR technology and use of data analytics
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Salary and Benefits:
- £62,000 – £68,000 DOE
- 27 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
