Spencer & Trent Recruitment is working with an award-winning architecture studio that is looking for an experienced Head of Finance to head their growing finance department on a permanent basis. You will be working from their office 4 days a week and 1 day from home.

Duties include:

• Overseeing the day to day finance functions for the company
• Producing budgets and financial planning
• Acting as an advisor to the Board for all finance related matter
• Developing financial strategies alongside the Board of Directors
• Providing monthly reporting and overview of the company’s financials
• Ensuring compliance across all financial aspects of the business
• Leading and growing the Finance Team
• Building relationships with auditors, banks, and other external stakeholders
• Identifying and manage financial risks
• Monitoring project profitability
• Reviewing and improving financial processes

Experience needed:

• Significant experience in a senior finance leadership role ideally within an architecture or design studio environment
• CIMA/ACA/ACCA
• Experience of Xero is a plus
• Proficient in Excel
• Excellent leadership qualities
• Confidence and strategic thinker
• Experience leading and developing a high-performing finance team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail

Salary and Benefits:

• £75,000 – £85,000 DOE
• Discretionary Bonus
• 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
• Day off on your birthday
• Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours per week
