Investor Relations Manager
Spencer & Trent Recruitment is working with a leading Hedge fund that is seeking a Investor Relations Manager to join their growing team on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid role and you will be working from the London office 4 days a week and one day from home.
Duties include:
- Managing investor queries and requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses
- Supporting fundraising efforts, including preparing and presenting pitch materials to prospective investors
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential investors, including institutional clients, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals globally.
- Coordinating and producing regular investor communications, including quarterly performance reports, newsletters, and presentations
- Assisting in due diligence processes, including coordinating and managing RFP/DDQ responses and investor meetings
- Monitoring and analysing industry trends, competitor strategies, and relevant market developments to provide insights and updates to investors
- Collaborating with internal teams (Compliance, Operations, Portfolio Managers) to ensure investor requests and needs are met efficiently.
Experience needed:
- 3+ years of experience in Investor Relations, Finance, or a related field, ideally within a hedge fund, asset management, or private equity environment
- A degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
- CFA, CAIA, or other relevant certifications are a plus
- Strong understanding of hedge fund strategies, investment products, and the financial markets
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and communicate complex financial information clearly
- Proficient in financial analysis and performance reporting, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Highly organised and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive, self-starter with a high level of professionalism and discretion
- Has the ability to work well under pressure
- Proactive and highly organised with a keen eye for detail
- Good computer skills including MS Office Suite, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Salary and Benefits:
- £62,000 – £65,000 DOE
- Annual performance bonus
- 28 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
- Statutory Pension Scheme
- Health Insurance after 3 Months of employment
- 40 hours per week
