Spencer & Trent Recruitment is working with a fastest growing bank that is looking for a Head of Asset to join their expanding team based in Liverpool Street on a permanent basis. You will be working from their London office 3 days a week and 2 days from home.

Duties include:

• Supporting the development of and driving the business’s asset partner strategy across retail and SME markets
• Identifying potential asset investment opportunities and developing a pipeline
• Driving, supporting and leading the execution of asset partner pipeline across portfolio purchase opportunities
• Leading effective and well-organised asset partner / portfolio investment due diligence and evaluation processes
• Writing and presenting clear and well-informed asset investment recommendations based on through due diligence and analysis
• Organising regular asset / balance sheet reports and reviews, including quantitative and qualitative studies
• Working with Risk teams to support the evolution of the business’s credit risk appetite framework
• Managing and upholding asset partner relationships
• Working with Legal and other relevant professionals to negotiate and structure forward flow / portfolio purchase transactions
• Working with Risk oversee the asset performance monitoring metrics, MI and management processes
• Supporting briefing of the ExCo Team of pipeline strategy and development

Experience needed:

• 7+ Experience in supporting and leading an investment / asset function
• In-depth knowledge of structured finance solutions
• Excellent communication and organisation skills
• Ability to work well under pressure, efficiently and organised
• Experience leading a team

Salary and Benefits:

• £95,000 – £110,000 DOE
• Yearly Discretionary Bonus
